Applies to: Entity Owner; Manager admin

Issue

The person who was your organization's Entity Owner or Manager admin has left or their email has been deactivated, and no one else can currently manage Entity or Manager access.

What to check first

Work through these steps in order:

1. Check whether any other user in your organization still has an active Entity Admin or Manager admin role. If so, that person can sign in and reassign roles, including adding a new Owner or Admin, from the Entity Management console.

2. If an active Admin exists, have them add the correct staff member as an Entity Admin, then follow your organization's process for transferring the Owner role if needed.

3. If no current Entity Owner or Admin account remains active, self-service role changes are not possible and you will need to contact Support for a manual ownership transfer.

Additional notes

Some additional points that may be useful:

• The Entity Owner role can normally only be reassigned by the current Owner. When the current Owner is no longer active, transferring ownership requires verification through Support or your local ViewSonic representative.

When to contact Support

Contact Support if no current Entity Owner or Admin account remains active to make the change themselves. Because the exact verification requirements for this workbook have not yet been confirmed, Support will confirm what proof of authority is needed when you open a ticket.

Information to include in your ticket

• Organization / Entity name

• Domain used by your organization

• Previous owner's email address

• New owner's email address

• Proof of authority to request the change (for example, a work email domain match or documentation from your organization)

• Device or order references, if available
