Applies to: Manager; Google EDLA enrollment
Manager shows a device's Device Owner permission as Off, even though Google EDLA enrollment for that device appears to have completed successfully.
Work through these steps in order:
Confirm the device's Google EDLA enrollment status directly in your Google Admin console, not only in Manager.
Note exactly where and how the Off status appears in Manager for this device.
Do not re-enroll the device or change its enrollment policy yet, since the meaning and impact of this status have not been confirmed and an unnecessary re-enrollment could disrupt a working setup.
Some additional points that may be useful:
This status is not yet documented, so this article intentionally does not explain what it means or whether action is required.
Contact Support before taking any remediation action. What Device Owner permission = Off means for an EDLA-enrolled device, and whether it requires a fix, has not yet been confirmed.
